Throughout the course we will be talking about different aspects of urban cycling. We live in a city, so we should be able to see things related to the things we are talking about. Also many social media sites deal with the issues we will be talking about. Once during the course I want you to make a post to the course blog and a 5 minute presentation to the class either:
- Based on a photograph of something you have seen related to bicycling either in Raleigh or wherever you are. (Or something you have experienced.)
- Based on something you have seen on social media sites or news articles
Your presentation should link what you have seen/read with material we have discussed in class. Does what you have seen or read support or tend to refute what we have talked about in class? Does it suggest another perspective?
You can sign up for presentations (starting Sept 12) here. If you would like to make your presentation earlier, please talk to me!
